DISCUSSION ON THE CONTROL ON TEMPERATURE CRACKS OF BLOCK MASONRY STRUCTURE USING COMPRESSIVE PRESTRESS

摘要: 混凝土小型空心砌块是近年来提出代替烧结粘土砖的一种新型墙体材料,在我国一些地区得到了大规模的推广使用。但实践证明:混凝土小型空心砌块砌体房屋在使用中很容易在房屋的顶层墙体产生温度应力引起的裂缝。对砌块砌体房屋温度裂缝的成因进行了分析,进而提出了用预压应力来控制砌块砌体结构温度裂缝的新技术。试验研究证明:该技术能有效提高墙体的抗裂性能、抗剪强度。最后提出了有关预应力砌块砌体的设计、施工建议及细部构造措施。Abstract: Small-sized concrete hollow block is a new-style material which was widely applied in dwelling house in our country. But the practice bears out that concrete hollow block masonry building is easy to crack on the top wall because of temperature stress. The cause of temperature cracks of block masonry structure was analyzed. Furthermore, an effective technique, by which a prestress can be used to control the temperature cracks of the block masonry wall, was presented.Experimental study indicates that this technique can effectively improve crack-resistance behavior and shear capacity of the wall. The design and construction suggestions and detailing measures of prestressed masonry structure were also proposed.
