OUT-OF-PLANE EFFECTIVE LENGTH OF COLUMNS WITHOUT LONGITUDINAL BRACES FOR MILL BUILDINGS

摘要: 因工艺要求,经常会碰到厂房纵向在某一高度范围内不允许布置支撑的情况。对厂房纵向抽撑时的柱子平面外计算长度进行研究,对三种抽撑方式均给出了简单的计算公式和设计表格,供设计人员参考。Abstract: It is very difficult for longitudinal braces to find a place for some mill buildings because below certain elevation the space is occupied by production lines.This paper studies the buckling of columns for which no brace is provided below certain level, but above this level there exists cross-bracing.Three types of bracing layouts are analyzed, and tables of the column effective length coefficients are given, and approximate formulas are also suggested, which may be a reference for designers.
