Abstract: The key to carrying on excellent historical and cultural traditions is to find out the point of agreement among the traditional cultural heritage, modern economy, technical conditions and lifestyle.The model languange is used for the design, which is a combination of group diatribution, function organization and structual measure etc that come from local traditional private residence and suitable for apecific place climate condition;and then this design is summerized and improved, so as to suit a new lifestyle.A residential environment with regional features and sustainable development can be created by means of low technology and low cost.
