Abstract: Color stainless steel not only presents the aesthetic characteristics of bright color and brightness，also has many excellent physical performances，which both adapts to the non-linear architectural design trends，and caters the development trend of building materials which can be recycled． Color aesthetic characteristics of stainless steel were analyzed in this paper，the principle of coloring，coloring process，and excellent properties，Finally，the perspectives of its application were also prospected．
