Abstract: Taking a two-storey office building in Zhanjiang as the application object，it was studied the importance of a full design and its optimization during the whole project construction． Through Tekla three-dimensional model and node design，detail processing of drawings and material control，Tekla BIMsight collaborative design and collision detection，etc． ，it was provided a proper way to achieve a better quality，a shorter construction period and a lower cost project．
