Abstract: The bearing capacity of single angle steel with local deformation is analyzed through nonlinear finite element analysis and limit bearing capacity test research， formulas without including whole buckling are derived，which can calculate the bearing capacity of single angle steel with local deformation when it is in use ，which can judge the local deformation is a safety hidden danger or not．
